How a Painting comes to be.

From a simple sketch to finished work on a canvas, there are countless steps involved in turning one of my ideas into a painting. For my painting "Starlight" I have taken quick photographs at stages throughout the process. 
This painting took an incredible two years to complete - although I have just yesterday broken that record by finishing a painting I started four years ago!
