After building a solid foundation of knowledge and experience by working with all types of art materials - from graphite pencils to chalks, markers, ink, aquarelle, acrylic, oil, charcoal, coloured pencils and digital art, I have narrowed my tools of trade to acrylic paints and a personal technique combining water colour and coloured pencils.
A Word regarding my Paintings
I use acrylic paint to complete my signature paintings, which each contain a piece of my life and a message. These are my treasures and I can spend years working on each painting, coming back to it again and again for further touches or a complete change in direction. This extremely long completion time makes my paintings very precious to me - I may only complete one painting a year. Additionally, my paintings are not for sale, as they are very personal. I do choose to display them on occasion, please contact me to find out the next opportunity to experience them in person and up close. On rare occasions I choose to donate or create limited edition signed prints of my paintings, which are only available for special causes.
Food Illustrations
I use my own personal technique combining water colour paint and coloured pencil to create hyper-realistic, bright and colourful drawings of food and the natural world. While some of these are bespoke works for clients, which I cannot share with you (although you may see them on your next trip to the supermarket!), I share the majority of my works with my friends. This gallery contains a selection of my works, which are also available for non-exclusive use on your own product, marketing material or social media platform.
