Food and Botanical Illustrations

As a fully qualified Food Developer, over the years I have worked alongside both start-up companies and large corporations and helped with countless new product launches across various sectors of the food industry.

I have learned that well-designed packaging, which catches the eye and stands out from competing products, can make the difference between product success and failure. Consumers are drawn to hand-created, thoughtfully selected illustrations on packaging, labels and retail boxes, which increase the perceived value of a product significantly. In the same way, high-end hand-crafted illustrations on marketing material and online presence draws audiences by communicating quality.

My blog started out as a side project, but when I added "Mom" to my list of titles, it became a place to share the up's and down's of being an artist mom - along with tips, how-to's, challenges and real life stories.
This life is not for everyone. It is at times hard, discouraging and lonely, with long hours and late nights. But on the other side, there is such a significant reward and unique fulfilment coming from making a living creating.
